The USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism <http://annenberg.usc.edu/>  is pleased to announce the 9th annual USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism Program. The Fellowship, funded by The Getty Foundation <http://www.getty.edu/foundation> , immerses mid-career arts, culture and entertainment editors, producers and writers from around the world in the distinctive cultural cauldron of Los Angeles.
Six arts journalists who bring distinction to the field will be chosen from the international applicant pool. The Fellowship accepts applicants who practice journalism in print, radio, television and online. Their areas of experience may include architecture, literature, film, pop culture, the visual and performing arts. They can be generalists and/or specialists. Staff journalists, affiliated freelancers and independents are welcome to apply.
The 2010 Fellowship emphasizes visual arts and architecture.

Application Deadline:  July 19, 2010, received no later than 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
Notification of Acceptance: August 20, 2010
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Cost: The program covers most expenses, including: roundtrip travel to and from Los Angeles, hotel, most meals, reading materials, Internet access in hotel room and transportation within Los Angeles. Fellows are given a $300 stipend.
