The JJA’s annual dim sum brunch meeting at the Chicago Jazz Festival is Sunday, September 5th, 10 a.m. until approximately noon, at the Phoenix Restaurant, 2131 S. Archer Ave., in Chinatown (discount parking available — call 312-328-0848 for details).
At least a dozen members of the JJA, organized by writer/teacher/radio show host and first JJA president Art Lange, will be in attendance at this sociable and network-driven gathering of writers, broadcasters, photographers, Jazz Institute of Chicago activists and media mavens.
