Searchable directories of Jazz Journalists Association member profiles are now online at JJA News.
Check the Professional Member Directory if you’re looking for a writer, photographer, video, audio or web producer to contribute to your jazz journalism project. Take a look at the Industry Associate Directory for profiles of the publishers, publicists, and presenters, as well as jazz musicians and educators, who support the JJA’s efforts to use new and old media to build interest in, and an ever-larger audience for, jazz.
You can search either directory by member name, interest or geographical location. Profiles in both directories contain links to member blogs and websites and information about areas of expertise. Contact an individual member directly via the “Send Message” button in the profile.
Your profile can be included, it’s one of the benefits of JJA membership: If you are a jazz journalist, become a Professional (voting) Member. If you work in an allied field, you can join as an Industry Associate.
