JazzDIY debuts, Cadence returns to action

Unusual news of new and renewed platforms for news and information about jazz:

  • JazzDIY, an “online trade journal for jazz musicians” is launched —
  • Cadence, the 35-year-old magazine of improvised music, gets new life under new management.

Scott Menhinick,  former freelance journalist and since then independent publicist as Improvised Communications and small staff including his wife are intent on doing it themselves and offering it to others. Read on.
