Seeking JJANews editor, JJA online admin

The Jazz Journalists Association has renewed its Network Affiliate Group membership in the Jazz Education Network, so JJA members can become JEN affiliate members for $10, and receive benefits as listed at the JEN website. Benefits include members’ registration to the third annual JEN conference, “Developing Tomorrow’s Jazz Audiences Today!”, January 4 – 7 2012 in Louisville, KY.

Editor, staff, submissions sought

JJA announces 2011 ‘Jazz Heroes’

The Jazz Journalists Association has named its 2011 “Jazz Heroes”– activists, advocates, altruists, aiders and abettors of jazz who have had significant impact in their local communities. New Award Category: Jazz Shortform Online Video of the Year

The Jazz Journalists Association is calling for your submissions to the first-time category, “Jazz Shortform Online Video of the Year.” In a first for the annual JJA Jazz Awards, nominations are open to the public, who can submit nominations for videos that fit the criteria below.
